The vibrant color is just gorgeous. The placement of the animal in the photo is also very good. The bird's POSE is just outstanding. That closed eye is adorable. Very unique shot.
Another thing I really like is that the background is very calm. A great way to ruin a picture is to have a busy, cluttered background. I like very much also how you can see his feet and tiny talons. It's cute and expressive of the animals features. The only thing I might change about the photo is to have cropped it more at the bottom... all that unfocused wood is kind of unattractive. But really, everything else looks amazing, especially that greenish sheen off the little guy's chest. Great work!!
